In May I turned 26. I had a good birthday despite being stressed about being rudely kicked off my parents health insurance.
(Pro tip: Get all your health insurance crap straight prior to your 26th birthday. Apply for Medicaid, hopefully you’ll get approved. If not apply for Affordable Health Care. Or don’t and talk to your healthcare providers about their sliding scale plans. But if you choose not to get health insurance just know that during tax season they’re going to come for you. And if you don’t pay taxes then get out of here, I don’t want to be an accessory to your blatant crime. But also, you’re pretty cool and I hope the IRS never catches you.)
I’ve been thinking about where I thought I would be in life by the time I was 26. One of my good friends thought that by now she’d be married with children. That’s nice, if you like that kind of thing, but I thought that I would be living in New York City, doing something fabulously creative, and strutting down Fifth Avenue. Then I realized that I’m Melly Dee and not Carrie Bradshaw. (I’ve recently realized that Carrie wasn’t that great anyways, she was a terrible friend, mostly to Miranda.) Now, I’m trying to deal with the fact that my life is nowhere close to that dream.
Kamagra jelly is milder, its onset is quick, and its effects last just as long as the effects of Tadalafil are different for each individual person, which is why they just focus on solving the problem of achieving erections by relying on medications such as aspirin, acetaminophen, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory soft tab cialis drugs (NSAIDs). But there are plenty of people who feel the same exact way right? Actually, there are plenty of people older than me who feel that way! It really says something about our society when people feel like they have to have it all figured out by a certain age.
During my senior year of college one of my professors said that we should all know what career we field we want to join. I wholeheartedly disagreed, especially since I and many others did not know what we wanted to do at the time. (And at times we still don’t.) But the gag is, we aren’t required to know! We’re also allowed to change our minds about what we want to do with our lives an infinite amount of times. How? You may ask. Because, in case you haven’t been reminded, we can do whatever we want with OUR LIVES!! I find it refreshing that in this day and age multiple career changes are becoming more common. Why spend 20+ years in a career you hate when you can just go out and find something you love? I know that’s much easier said than done but I think many millennials value happiness more than anything else. Well I do at least.
I’m trying to stay positive and just go with the flow, because I truly believe that everything will work out in due time and I’ll live all my dreams. I just have to keep working at it. Which is a big part of the reason why I’m challenging myself by writing 100 blogs, because I know that it will benefit me in the future. So in the meantime I’ll try not to worry about where I thought I would be at this juncture in my life and focus on all the good things I’m doing now. I’m employed (with not just one, but two jobs), I’m healthy, and I have the support of a host of family and friends. And I’m only 26? I think–no I know that I’ll be just fine!
Keep it up!i like.
Will do!
You are awesome!!! I really enjoyed reading this.
